WeBuyCars not taking responsibility for faults on cars they sell
We bought a Volvo from WBC. Before we took the car they informed us that they will replace the windscreen. Within 3 days after we collected the car, certain functions stopped working. We took the car to Volvo Somerset West for an assessment and they said the reason for the radar, etc. not working is because WBC did not fit an original Volvo Windscreen. I logged a complaint on WBC's website on the 5th of September 2022 asking them to repair the faults caused by them. Since then I've been in contact with the Customer Care division but every time I contact them, the standard reply is: "I will have an answer for you by this afternoon/tomorrow morning/ I will follow up and get back to you". It's been the same reply for 5 weeks now.
They forced us to take the Innovation Warranty and now they hide behind Innovation and say they are waiting on Innovation.
WBC don't want to take any responsibility for the vehicles they sell. They force you to pay for a warranty and when you want to claim, no one comes to the party.
Thank you We Buy Cars, we can finally enjoy the car to it's full potential.
