Webuycars - never again

4 month ago I purchased a BMW 1 series for cash at the Epping branch. I was informed according to the Dekra report that a few things needed seeing to (especially to get it road-worthied). The report mentioned nothing about a major water leak (How could they miss this?) So I drove the car back home and after a few mins the engine overheated, ruining the cylinder head or gasket as well as the turbo. When I stopped the car immediately after getting the overheating signal, I called the service representative - Mario - who assure me it should be fine and I should just drive it to the nearest petrol station to get coolant. The engine overheated again on the way there. I am hugely frustrated that the better suggestion of towing it back was not conveyed. Admittedly I should have returned the car immediately - but I don't know much about cars and the advice I received was very nonchalant, taking no responsibility that this was going to damage the car. I've since sold it for a fraction of what I bought it for just to get it away from my conscience. In fact almost all aspects on the Dekra report indicated the various conditions to be "very good". I spent 30k on the car just to roadworthy is let alone the damaged engine and turbo I could not afford to repair. So a 50k loss of cash with major headaches. Never again
