Webuycars midstream flawed sales policies

Hi

On 24/10/2018 . I bought 2005 x5 3.0d auto from we buy cars midstream. The sales consultant Rudi Nel assist with the sale. Rudi explained to me that when I buy the car I buy it as is and webuycars are not responsible in any way for any issues to the vehicle once purchased. The SUV seemed in good shape and I didn't think that a week later it would fail on me. Whilst driving from a buddies house . The SUV just cut off and refused to start. The error on the dash board was " Fuel inject system". It was late and I got the car towed to my mechanic. This was on the 1st of November 2018. Remembering what Rudi told me about buying the car "as is" . I called the we buy cars customer care and was also told the same thing buy the agent.

Upon assessment of the car it was found that car had several faults. The faults included a fault DDE(computer box). DDE relay fault. Low rail pressure sensor fault The high pressure fuel pump has given up . At the time of purchase no faults was indicated on the purchase invoice. The left hand side door stopped opening from the outside and even the rear door lid actuator has given up.

It's been over a month now and when I called into webuycars again on the 10/12/2018. They refuse to want to listen to my issues and keep saying I bought the car as is. I know according to the CPA. The purchase was between me and dealer(webuycars) not a private seller who sold me a car once off. We buy cars conducts daily sales of cars as that's there core business and yet they want to bypass the CPA and RIP its customers off.

The repair of my vehicle is looking at almost R30000. That's almost half of what I paid for the vehicle.

We buys cars need to assist me or I'm going to seek legal action against them

My contact number is ********** 444
