Webuycars is terrible

Bought a BMW from them. The car had a service and roadworthy certificate. The day I took delivery I needed a new battery. They informed me I could buy one and send them the bill. Two weeks later I have yet to receive my repayment.

The car has an oil leak as well. I initially thought it was due to gearbox oil overfill and left it. Three days on it was still leaking oil. Upon inspection it appears that who ever serviced the car didn't do it properly and the oil sump is leaking. The catalytic converter is also gone and it smokes quite a bit. The fact that the car obtained a roadworthy certificate with a dead battery, oil leak and faulty cat is incredible. I suspect ***** of some kind.

I am actively being ignored. They expect me to now pay for a full diagnosis from an RMI approved workshop, of which will cost me R1000 plus, however they can service the car, on my expense, at whomever they like and leave it with oil leaks.

What a nightmare it is working with them. At this moment I feel like handing the case over to the Ombudsman.
