WeBuyCars is Selling Misrepresented Warranties from "Innovation Group"

This is a serious warning to potential buyers, especially of high-end vehicles.

WeBuyCars sells Porsche vehicles with an Innovation Group warranty that does NOT work with Porsche dealerships. The claims process does not align with Porsche’s repair procedures, making this warranty effectively useless and, in my experience, misrepresented.

My experience: My Porsche broke down on the highway. Innovation Group confirmed the repairs were covered and instructed me to book the vehicle in at Porsche, stating a claim could only be lodged after repairs.

Once Porsche completed the repairs. I submitted an invoice to Innovation Group. Porsche also wrote a Diagnostics and Repair Confirmation email to supplement the claim. Innovation Group refused to pay or even lodge the claim. Their claims department is unprofessional— they subject claiming clients to long hold times, their staff is rude, they drop calls on customers when you request escalation support.

As a result, my car is still stuck at Porsche, unpaid.

WeBuyCars must take responsibility for the products and partners they sell through. Selling high-end vehicles with warranties that cannot be honored at manufacturer-approved dealerships is misrepresentation.
