WeBuyCars Horrific After Sales Service

I am dissatisfied with the after sales service I have received.

I bought an Audi A1 at the Richmond branch on the 16th Sept and the vehicle has gone for repairs 4 times and the issue was not resolved. First it was the spark plugs and cleaning of the oxygen sensor thereafter they replaced the oxygen sensor.

I was told it will need to go in for a third time to change the injectors. This was advised without going in for a third inspection. One of my questions is if they knew it was the injectors why wasn't it replaced on the 2nd time it went in.

I only had the car for 5 days in total meaning I had to Uber to work which cost R400 per day and grocery shopping for R250. I filled the tank up before I was experiencing issues with the car so that's another R1000. I had missed 5 appointments. I have quite a few illnesses and need to go to my doctors appointments.

When the car went in for the second time on the Friday 25th I was told I could get a courtesy car if the car was not ready by Tuesday 30th I only received the car 2nd October. No courtsey car provided.

Each time the engine light came on. The third time I informed them of the issue Friday 3rd Oct and I was told I would have to wait till Monday for the car to be fetched which once again means I need to fork out money for Uber. I called the center and I was put on hold for 15min and then the line went dead. I obtained the number of the Sales manager Reinhard to discuss the matter. I called him - no answer. Left a voice note - read but not answered. Called him Saturday 4th Oct call was declined.

Webuycars should to reimburse me for all my expenses (UBER & pertrol).

I subsequently bought a minni cooper from them which it's own set of problems: I bought a Mini Cooper 2020. Issues:

- Firstly its a 2019 model and not 2020 - I requested copies of the documents signed multiple times with no response from Eugene (Richmond branch). - I'm specifically wanting the Dekra report. - The car was serviced in September 2025 however there is no service book. The invoice was requested but never received. I called the workshop myself to obtain an invoice. - The bonnet sensor has been problematic and it is clearly stated on the invoice that the bonnet sensor is faulty. Therefore WeBuyCars was aware of the fault and did not disclose it. - The battery was faulty so I have had to replace that too.

I informed the complaints department on 16 Feb 2026 with no response to date.

I havent received any uber slips payment nor petrol for the Audi A1. WeBuyCars have cost me a lot of money and I expect some reimbur*****t for the Audi A1 as requested. I expect WeBuy Cars to replace the bonnet sensor or I will have it fixed and submit the invoice.

The issues with the mini has become worst. A few people pointed out that the mini was making a strange noise. I was concerned so i had the car checked to be told that the car had been in an accident, the catalytic converter was removed which is *******. There are various other issues . Still waiting on the Dekra report. I have asked for roadworthy certificate too and a copy of signed documents physical and electronic
