WeBuyCars - Greed or Bully?

So having previously dealt with WeBuyCars, back when they first started out which turned out to be a pretty good deal for both parties I thought I'd do so again for selling my last vehicle.

Not sure if the corporate greed has set in, but things have changed since.

The book value on my car stated the Trade Value was between R326k - R348k and the Retail being R365k - R393k. My car had very little km's on and in mint condition inside and out.

They offered me "R300k - R320k", needless to say this was an insult if anything.

I ended up using one of their competitors which paid R365k without blinking as it was then a quick flip on their side. (ALL competitors offered more than they did)

So before selling to them, beware they low-ball you and take advantage of the uninformed.

Please do your homework and try all the alternatives, you'd be surprised on what you could potentially get.
