WARNING!!!! DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM WE BUY CARS EVER!!! They are ******* and ****s. First of all I bought a car on auction from them and to be safe I went for the Platinum status that they told me was a vehicle that have no issues and is road worthy with a road worthy certificate. I paid for the vehicle on 13 March and went to Johannesburg South Branch. I immediately asked for the road worthy certificate from Zanele Makhoba and was told I can only get the certificate when I received the registration papers. On 5 April, I went to fetch the registration papers. The person that gave the paper to me was eating a vetkoek and the marks was on the paper. I then request for the road worthy certificate and they called Zanele Nakhoba. He told me that he will call me and after waiting for 3 hours he told me the certificate has expired and gave me voucher. According to my knowledge a rwc is valid for 60 days, a auction vehicle comes on the floor, it will be sold and handed over to the new owner in a week at most. How is it possible that the rwc could have expired? I then went back to home. I took the car for rwc inspection just to find out that this car condition was sooo bad it could have never passed the inspection. I was understandably furious and phoned them. They were so unhelpful and basically told me it is my problem. I then went through the vehicle and found a paper (luckily) from the previous inspection and it failed the inspection which means they could never have sold it as a Platinum vehicle. I then spoke to Hannes Saayman, their manager, and he told me to fix the vehicle and they will pay for it. Guess what still waiting for payment and just getting all kind of stories. Next move is the Ombudsman as this was false adverti*****t and if I knew the vehicle was not Platinum I would not have bid on it on the auction. Please stay away from these kind of businesses as they are killing the smaller ethical dealers. You may pay less but believe me you will pay more. Just to be fair before this message I gave them all plenty of oppertunities and ample time to rectify the matter which they did not.
