WeBuyCars - an ethical dilemma!
I intended selling my current vehicle and then, with the proceeds, purchase THREE other vehicles from WeBuyCars. The initial quote given to me was a price of R270k to R300k for the vehicle I wanted to sell, but I was required to take it to one of their branches, Midstream, for a final figure. After waiting for THREE hours at the Midstream branch, I was given a quote of R270K. I was told that this was because the previous estimate of R270k to R300k was based on the current model and not the previous model, which my vehicle was. Utter bulls...... The email received from their sales team clearly stated that it was based on a 2015 model and it specified PRE F/LIFT. Now I don't have an issue with getting an insulting quote. Just please don't lie about it! Totally unprofessional and they will never see me again!
