WeBuyCars a ***** and *****

I purchased a vehicle on finance from WeBuyCars and was assured that all faults per Dekra report were going to be addressed prior to me taking delivery of the vehicle. The notable faults were the drive train failure and gearbox fault. When taking delivery of the vehicle I was assured these were addressed. On the day of taking delivery I noted a warning sign on the speedometer. Since the car was new I didn't know at the time that the warning light was a warning that there was a drive train error reported by the vehicle. I started experiencing that something was just not right with the gear ratio of the vehicle as the automatic gear changes were not smooth, the fuel consumption was excessively high although I was driving the vehicle slow at consistent speed and on open roads. I decided to take the vehicle to the vehicle's manufacturer's agent for assessment. The assessment results was that there was a drive train failure and that the gearbox required replacement amongst other faults also identified. I immediately started making contact with WeBuyCars and was sent from pillar to post. I eventually structured my approach in dealing with WeBuyCars by limiting my correspondence with them to writing for future reference. WeBuyCars approached the ombudsman who advised that the vehicle sale agreement be canceled. When I attempted to accept the sale agreement cancelation WeBuyCars claimed that I had previously refused to accept the cancelation and that the sale cancelation was no longer on offer. The sale misrepresentation by WeBuyCars as noted above has created a traumatic experience and financial woes as I had to pay additional fees to borrow other people's cars when I needed to travel long distance as I could not rely on the vehicle which I purchased from WeBuyCars. The trauma of driving the vehicle not knowing whether I was going to reach my destination is still prevalent as from time to time when I do not have surplus funds to borrow a vehicle from friends at a cost I am forced to use the faulty vehicle I purchased from WeBuyCars. I am very disappointed with WeBuyCars and I will not recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from them as I feel that they too can be taken for a ride by WeBuyCars. The after sales experience of WeBuyCars is disastrous and dubbed with lack of prompt response and endless waiting to be answered via the telephone. The staff I dealt with showed no remorse or compassion towards my situation as if to suggest that I am unreasonable to demand my rights in terms of CPA. I feel *****ed and I am stuck with a vehicle I cannot enjoy and use it as I had intended to use it. I would like to take back the vehicle and purchase another one however I envisage I will lose substantially if I attempt to sell the vehicle due to the vehicle faults as described above. Also, due to that I am financing the vehicle I am not enjoying the return on my investment since purchasing the vehicle and it is now 6 months down the line and the finance is for another 66 months to go. WeBuyCars has negatively affected my financial situation and anyone who wants to waste their money should buy their cars from WeBuyCars. I have purchased many second hand cars before from other dealers and have not experienced the issues I am experiencing with WeBuyCars.

13 days on no further correspondence or status update from WeBuyCars, this is really poor and I feel like the response sent was more a formality than anything. Is this WeBuyCars standards, to put up a face, mislead and ***** people of their honest living and hard earned cash?
