We sell car sell defect car and don't disclose
My sister bought a car three weeks ago. Took the car for service all to find out that the steering wheel gear box need to be replaced. Quotation is R50 000 to replace it. And they never even mention that to her. She tried to call them and they said she must sent them an email, Never drove the car, She only drove the day she went to fetch it and to take it for service.
She is a first buyer, and already frustrated. all she want is to exchange the car as they were not honest with her. Spent R 92 000 on a second hand car paid R 4000 for service now need R 50 000 KIA that is more than 147 000 km. You should have disclose major defect . please do the right thing

As per our feedback to you via email this morning, we found that you bought the vehicle from our Midstream Branch on 9 March 2018. After inspecting and test driving the vehicle with your Sales Executive, Bongani, you decided to purchase the vehicle.
The terms and conditions were explained to you and all the documents were signed. The invoice was then generated and singed, and you took delivery of the vehicle.
After purchasing the vehicle from us, you informed us that you took the vehicle for a service to a Kia Dealership, who quoted you for the steering rack/box.
Unfortunately, as you have had the vehicle for 40+ days, and none of these problems were present when we did the vehicle hand-over, we came to the decision not to carry the cost on the repair of your vehicle.
