We don't Buy cars from them

I really like the Idea of We Buy Cars: • You get a proper Dekra report. • The website and app is awesome. • There are 2 warehouses close to me. etc

However the great experience ends as soon as you need to interact with anyone. You will get the distinct impression that they are doing you a great favour to allow you to buy a car from them.

I will not bore you with all the details there as there are many phone calls (more than 40) whatsapps and 3 weeks of back and forth and the promises, lack of communication and ongoing extension of getting the Vehicle. The Summary is that I had agreed to all WBC rules and requirements. • I had used their financing. • I have a signed Offer to Purchase. • They listed the car at 164 000. • I had to use WBC tyres supplier even though they are twice the price of the ones I sourced. • I had to use WBC Windshield supplier even though they are twice the price of the ones I sourced. • I had to use WBC workshop to service the car. • I had to pay for to petrol flap to be fixed at R2000 even though it was not reported on the Dekra report. • I had to use WBC extended warrantee as they do not except my Extended warrantee.

However today I was told that I had to pay an additional R25 000 to fix the handbrake, again not something that was reported to me or listed on the Dekra report. The car listed at 164 000 is already costing me R202 000 with all the extra costs I’m expected to pick up and now to have R25 000 added is unacceptable.
