WE BUY CARS YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES! WHAT A DISGRACE

In November I enquired about a BMW X6 which I received email correspondence that the vehicle is still available at Midstream. I then contacted We Buy Cars to speak to a salesman (I did not know at the time that there is not a particular salesman dealing with particular cars) the person that answered the phone first wanted me to go through a full "medical" checklist before I was given a cel number for the salesman. Contact the salesman - he can not help he is on leave. Not explaining to me (who never dealt with them before) that you can go in and be assisted (if they see fit) by anyone else. He just ignored me from thereon going forward Went to We buy cars Midstream on Monday 2nd of January 2023, now I know that this is a public holiday so you go with an open mindset. After 2 hours walking around and identifying vehicles that we are interested in we were told sorry short staffed. We can not assist you now. Now what is very noticeable when you first enter We Buy Cars is that nobody even greets you. Almost as if it is a sin to make eye contact. You have all these salesmen that race from point A to point B on these hover board s******s but greet - no ways! They are scared that if they greet you they must assist you. Okay so back to being short staffed - we were told to leave our number and the salesman will phone us. My husband still asked the lady at the info counter how will he be possible to help if we have identified a few cars. He was told they know what they are doing. So not long after we left - we received a phone call! Yay!!! It was Cameron from We Buy Cars Midstream. Asked how he can assist us. My husband told him we were there and we identified a few vehicles (3) that we are interested in and would need some assistance and info on. Cameron very polity said he can not help over the phone and we are welcome to come back to Midstream and bye. Now this is a no brainer - we were just told they know what they were doing. Do they? Now we proceed to We Buy Cars Germiston - thinking maybe Midstream is just the one branch not really performing - you know like the runt of the litter. Get to Germiston, my goodness very same attitude. Until one of the "s****** clan" raced passed us and I very loudly said "Good afternoon", I was greeted with "hi hi" but that is it So now we start scouting again. We identified 2 vehicles. Now bear in mind this is a cash deal. I then stopped 2 salesmen that was standing around talking and asked how do we proceed from here? They told me to go to the info counter and then they will be called via intercom to come and assist. Which we did We were handed a salesman named Kevin. No but NO sense of humor or customer relations at all. So I looked for my husband (he went scouting again while we waited for a salesman) while Kevin was going to get the keys for one of the vehicles. After a while Kevin informed us that they did not have the key. It was scanned out. He did not know by whom. So my question was: How does your system not record who signs out keys" I got a shrug of the shoulders. Okay so now we proceed to the vehicle anyway. Had a look and at this point we were ready to purchase, if only the keys could be found. Then my husband asked if it is a Cat A or B vehicle. I showed him on the price tag it was a Cat A vehicle. But my goodness when the salesman started mentioning all the problems the vehicle had (a list full) I said to him then should this not rather be a CAT B vehicle. His answer: No it is repairable. But so is a CAT B vehicle as well. Back to the keys. I made a joke (this is where I discovered that he has no sense of humor - rather as thick as a plank). I said to him: "do you see that silver Cherokee? He said yes, I said well maybe you can scan that key out for me on the same principle then at least we have a car" and my husband and myself were laughing. My oh my! I then was told that, that is so ********* and he was quite upset. I told him at that point and so is it unprofessional to not know or at least try and make a plan to get the keys of a vehicle. He told us he was going to speak to the Manager. Yay!! Some sense at least. Goodness me only to come back and tell us the Manager said sorry nothing he can do. At this point still we were contempt and told him that my husband will be out of the Country from Tuesday - Thursday so if they can locate the keys and give us a call on Friday morning we could come back again. Only to be told that: "yeah if it is still available by then, because anyone else walks in and buys the vehicle it is gone" What a bunch of losers!
