We "Buy" Cars - the story of ****************

I sold my car to We Buy Cars out of absolute desperation, it was the very last thing I had to my name and I was told as I sat there in tears, with no moves left to make that the reduced offer of R 15,000.00 I received was based on the 'fact' that they would probably only sell it for about R 17,000.00. This was said to me in person by salesperson, Henri Viljoen. I have learned today that the car was sold for R 32,000.00 less than a week later.

I was hanging onto the hope of receiving the minimum offer of between R20K-R25K as per the initial correspondence.

Since purchasing this vehicle I was cheated out of tens of thousands of rands (rough estimate R40K) due to an assortment of mechanical problems and ******* dressed up as businesses taking advantage of a lady whose knowledge of cars, their mechanical workings and overall value is limited to the theoretical and word of mouth, and now this, by a "reputable" company is the way I have to end this story? Enough is enough.

I don't expect a big corporate to show empathy to every client who walks through the door, because (clearly) business is business, but I pleaded for them to stick to the initial offer and I was refused.

The R5K extra would not have closed your doors - but what it meant for me was not being able to buy a s****** to replace my transport and by learning that you will be making 113.33% profit off my loss makes me feel very, very cheated.
