We Buy Cars The Dome - Epic Fail

This complaint is highlighting my experience with We Buy Cars and utter dismay with the service received.

I purchased an Audi A1 at We Buy Cars The Dome with an A rating and the Dekra report stated that the ONLY problems with the car was the rear wiper blade and front control arm bushes needed to be changed. After fetching the vehicle, I drove it for a few kilometres I realized the car was jerking and going on the limp mode, nevertheless I drove the vehicle for approximately a week, thereafter I informed the salesman that the car was over revving and jerking on take off and the gear shift was not systematic. He advised me to take the car to an RMI approved centre to get a diagnostic report and quotation of how much the repairs would cost. He then told me to open up a conern on the website and attach the quote and report to the concern for head office to see. I then went to Audi for a full diagnostic report which costed me R2000.00. The report stated that the mechatronics were the problem and the quotation for the repairs were appropriately R50 000.00

This indeed was proof that this dealership cannot be trusted and we cant rely on their reports.

Highly disappointed and left feeling dooped!!
