We Buy Cars sold me a faulty car with a damaged radio system. | bought a VW T-Cross from We buy cars in Feb 2022, after some time I noticed that my radio was delaying to switch on and then it eventually stopped working. VW assessed the radio and found that the wires had been cut and stuck with tape. They told me that the company who installed a tracker cut it and my maintenance plan will not pay because of 'outside tampering' . I took the radio to a VW approved radio repair canter called Fixtrade, where they confirmed in their assessment report that the wires had been cut. We called Discovery who put a tracker in the car to determine if it was their technicians that cut the radio wires when installing the tracker, they did their own assessment report and determine it was not their fault. VW concluded that I purchased the car from We buy cars with the existing damage, as no other work had been done to the car while it was in my possession. I need to know what my warranty says.
