I feel I must share my experience at we buy cars silverlakes. I took my NP300 Nissan turbo diesel for a valuation for a trade in. The agent collected my key and said we can look at the bakkies. After being gone for about 20min,he phoned and said to come to the parking lot,he said the turbo had a runaway and their is oil coming out of the intercooler.,which is strange because the bakkie did ****m in 2 days with no problem. He said sorry we cannot buy the bakkie on asking if someone can take us home to fetch our other bakkie. He said 45 km is to far. So we got a towtruck, to load the bakkie and take us home was R2800. We had a new turbo installed for R15800 and fix the intercooler. So if you go to we buy cars and hand them your key they will drive the sh$t out of your car to see if they can brake it and if they do they will leave you stranded in their car park without so much as a have a nice day.
