WE BUY CARS SALES PROCESS

Went to WBC on Sunday the 25th of September 2023. I was interested in a Hyuindai Creta, the Sales Agent advised that I can create a application for this vehicle as yet as its currentyl on auction, and only once the auction is done and this wil only end Tuesday the 26th... Once the auction was completed, the vehicle was updated on the website and the on auction indication no longer apeared, I then started with the finance application... 1st received a whatsapp stating that I a pre-approved, after some documents I received a 2nd Whatsapp indicating that I am approved and a agent will contact me to collect my vehicle... Did not receive any call from WBC, I then followed up the next day, and was advised that the vehicle was sold, and that they are busy searching for another one...

Why allow me to go trhough the entire process if the vehcile already has a sale in progress, and if I am the 1st sale, why then allow the vehicle to be sold as my sale was then in progress...
