We Buy Cars ripped me off

I purchased a gorgeous Audi Q5 for my wife from We Buy Cars, I am happy with the service and advice that sales guy, Naphtal Motha, gave us, though I had to be the one making calls until the process was complete.

We collected the Q5 on Friday afternoon, by morning Saturday, we decided to take a long drive to fit new rims and tires at Autostyle. Before we drove, I noticed a nail on rear tire, but no sign of loss of pressure. No biggie.

We drove for about 5 kms and the Engine Management system warning light came on, the vehicle lost power and hastily slowed down from 100 km/h to 60 km/h while we were on N1. I called and Audi advised that all engine issues are major. Dekra report did not list any engine issue. We canceled our plans and drove straight to WBC Midstream to seek assistance, everyone was too busy to assist me until I found someone after about 1 hour who only told me to log a call on WBC website.

Since I've logged this call, no one contacted me, I have been loading airtime and making calls to We Buy Cars staff who assisted when we purchased, but the response is: there's nothing they can do. A new car is parked and useless.

I hoped I would get urgent assistance, but the dealer is not communicating. It feels like a rip-off. High cost for a vehicle with engine issues is far from a fair deal.

I truly regret purchasing my Q5 from We Buy Cars! Buying from a s**** yard is better, at least you know what you are buying. WBC doesn't want to accept the faults on the vehicle :(. They state that Dekra report listed some issues - true, but not turbo and engine defects. I had to make countless phone calls to make them accept they carry the blame, together with the previous owner and maybe Audi.

Secondly, WBC wanted me to drive and deliver a vehicle with engine management issues to their workshop, seriously? I had to make more calls and beg them to send a truck instead.

Lastly, the repair quote for my 1 day Audi, is R12 000. WBC expects my Warranty to pay for the costs "as the claim is valid", if there's a shortfall, I must pay.
WBC is bullying me and Innovation FSP (Pty) Ltd to carry these costs.

Not a fair service!
Any advise?
