We Buy Cars possibly using fictitious Dekra reports to de***** customers

These people not only give a horrible service, but they possibly also de***** customers using fictitious Dekra reports for their cars.

In February this year we bought a 2017 Polo Vivo from this company. It had a green Dekra report indicating only the left rear tyre and ABS light/sensor requiring attention. 2 days after collecting the car we took it to an RMI certified workshop for diagnosis. The report from that workshop showed among other things that the car had a damaged oil sump and stepper motor; and the water bottle for windscreen washers was completely missing. There were also several other items of wear and tear that were picked up.

I sent the report to We Buy Cars on 23rd February, and after many follow-up attempts from us, they still have not responded even today.

Now the main question on my mind is, how and where did We Buy Cars get this green Dekra report that didn't mention any of these material and significant faults on the car? The stepper motor problem does not even require ome to be an expert to notice. The moment you switch the car on, there is a loud clicking noise coming from behind the dashboard on the passenger side. Surely if the car was truly diagnosed at a Dekra branch they would have picked this up. Do these We Buy Cars purchase fictitious Dekra reports in order to inflate their car prices...?🤔 How many other cars do they have there or sell on a daily basis with fictitious and misleading Dekra reprts?

Please be careful when purchasing a vehicle from these people. Rather ask them to allow you to take the car for an independent diagnosis first.
