We buy cars not as honest as they would like us to believe

I own a 2014 opc astra with less than 60 000 km and contacted we buy cars for a valuation with the option to sell the vehicle to them. A gentleman called Renier came to my house and thoroughly inspected my vehicle which is flawless until it came to starting the vehicle. The engine light stayed on due to 2 sensors that needed to be replaced, which I was willing to do before I sold the vehicle. What made me very suspicious of Renier was when he took the vehicle for a test drive, please note in the area where I live, there are more speed humps than road, so he will floor it and kept on commenting that the vehicle is on limp mode and has no power. He quipped that these type of cars have powerful engines and they were meant to throw you into your seat. I could clearly see the strategy he was implementing that he either wanted me to agree with him so he can buy the car for next to nothing or was no longer interested in the purchase. I own a 2018 Rs6 which pushes 412kw,that vehicle does not throw me into my seat with that amount of power. You can't test drive a car with roads that have speed humps every 50 meters and say it's on limp mode..... All I'm saying is these guys are not honest in their approach and one should be very weary when dealing with them. Eddie
