We Buy Cars
I’m seriously not having any joys with we buy cars Springfield.
I purchased a vehicle in the beginning of Feb this year, had it for a week and the battery dies completely it was replaced by we buy cars after a week or so. Last week my wife was driving to work and as she got to work the car starts idling low like it wants to switch of and the car starts to jerk with the EPC light coming on the dashboard. I advised her to go to VW Umhlanga as its 3 mins away from her. VW Umhlanga books the car in and only provides the findings on Wednesday that the car is pushing oil onto the spark plugs and low compression on piston 1, and the repair cost will be around 70k+- and my innovation cover won’t cover fully.
That’s when I logged a call with, We buy cars that this is the issue.
Up till now the car is still not uplifted from VW Umhlanga I’m the one stuck without a vehicle going almost 2weeks and still paying monthly instalments, until I receive a credit on the vehicle.
VW advised Cheryl that the car is not drivable last week, and she sends someone yesterday to VW to pick the vehicle and they advised that they won’t be liable If this vehicle gets stuck.
I have been following up timeously every day with Cheryl from WBC with feedback and no joy of them uplifting the vehicle from VW Umhlanga.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Our sincerest apologies for the negative experience you have had.
We are busy investigating the matter and will provide you with feedback as soon as possible.

I have been dealing with Cheryl in customer care and Theo from sales.
The response they i keep getting is that they only have 1 tow truck driver for the three branches in Durban, that must be a joke having so many vehicles in WBC and 1 tow truck driver.
i have been very patient from last week now its gone another week and they still haven't uplifted which is very frustrating having a vehicle for 2 months costing 200k on finance and not having it for 2weeks and getting charged for it just because WBC cant tow the vehicle back to there premises that's only 14km's away.
Kind Regards
