We Buy Cars Durban. Outstanding service, well done

Great Service from We Buy Cars Durban. My pensioner mum, needed a new car so I popped onto the Interweb looking around, and found WBC Durban.

App**** online for finance via the WBC Website. A few days later approved and all was good.

Wesley the sales guy, a real credit to WBC Durban. Temera the finance lady, outstanding service and assistance. Ryanald the finance guy, superb service.

The ONLY complaint is that WBC Durban outsource their service and repairs to Platinum Auto, they on the otherhand should not call themselves mechanics. The vehicle went to them prior to delivery, for major service and minor fault fixing. What a shambles.

1) replaced headlight unit, and never adjusted the height, so subsequently mum has car where one headlight shines on the road and the other shines to the sky. A simple fix, bit they never even bothered.

2) they did rack ends as they were worn according to the Dekra report. When car was delivered, there was an awfull clunking sound whilst turning to the left. This was not on the Dekra report, and was never found as a fault prior to them working on the car. After investigation it was a collapsed top strut mount ( shock mount), and that wasnt reported by them to WBC when they delivered the vehicle afyer repair. Needles to say this was shocking as the car would never have passed roadworthy as is, so somewhere something is a bit fishy. Thank God we took an extended warranty, so the repair will be covered.

3) They fitted a new gearknob, so cheap and nasty I could have bought one from China Mall and it would have been Rolls Royce quality compared to what Platinum Auto fitted. ( they really should change their name to Rusted Iron Auto)
