We buy cars Durban
To Whom it May Concern. We Buy cars Durban.
On the 25th of May 2019 I purchased a corsa from we buy cars in Durban which was faulty and they refunded me fair enough, but when purchasing this vehicle the petrol tank was empty and I filled it up. I barely drove 40 km before breaking down on the side of the road. Still today I am waiting for them to refund me my petrol money . They can deduct the km's I used but I am still entitled to my refund. Jaco Venter the Manager from we buy cars has told me I will be refunded but I have been waiting almost a month now and I still haven't received my refund. On top of everything I can never get hold of the branch.
I hate that u have to beg for what belongs to me. Such horrible service honestly.
As I write this I know that even this won't make them respond to my complaint.

I have been informed that you did indeed buy a vehicle from us and filled it with petrol as you were travelling from Durban to Ladysmith. You had experienced problems with the vehicle and we made a decision to cancel the deal to accommodate you as our client.
We then arranged for the vehicle to be collected from Ladysmith to Durban on our own expense and refunded you fully for the amount paid initially to us.
We stand by our decision to not compensate you for the additional expense you are referring to.

If I was aware that the vehicle would break down 40 km into my trip back home I would not have used my monthly petrol allowance on that vehicle!
If I had know you would not have refunded me I would have taken the petrol out my self but again you did not inform me. Which is *****ing from me.
As for towing the vehicle back at your own cost that was not my fault I contacted the sales rep and asked him if I should have it towed back to Durban and he said No.
