We buy cars are a ****, delay to solve issue until warranty expires

I bought an Audi S3 in September 2022 and by December the light had proven faulty. I approached the salesman about this and after a lot of back and forth nothing was done. The headlight was faulty and Audi said that it had been tempered with and needed to be replaced. WBC delayed to rectify this issue until the 6 months passed.

This is a response that they are giving now: It is unreasonable to expect We Buy Cars to have discovered any unsafe characteristics, failure, defect, or hazard, in any of the vehicles we sell having regard to our role in marketing the vehicle to consumers.”
