We Buy Cars and Sell them although Not Roadworthy

• I saw an advert online stating Utility with aircon and towbar selling for R130 000.00 • On 23 October 2018 I went to view the vehicle and was met by Inus Watkins (Sales Person) • I asked him what is wrong with the vehicle and he pointed out that the Bumper needs a clip and the left side mirror handle is broken • We took the vehicle for a test drive and nothing untoward was picked up • I paid for the vehicle and drove • 24 October 2018 I enquired where the Towbar and bonnet cover was and received no reply. • 25 October 2018 I forwarded a Whatsapp and Inus advised that he loaded the complaint on their Complaint Tracker and will ask his Manager to call. • Malcolm phoned me and we agreed to meet on 26 October 2018 • On 26 October 2018 I detailed all the matters with Malcom and the vehicle was taken in for repairs. • I followed up on the repairs and was advised by Johannes (JJ) that they still busy with the vehicle • I viewed the vehicle on 04 November 2018 and found that only the Bumper and Towbar were repaired. • The vehicle was booked back for the Outstanding items on 04 November 2018. • I followed up with both JJ and Malcom regarding the delay in repairs • 14 November 2018 JJ advised me the they will not repair the items in question and referred me to the Ombudsman

I believe that the Dealership was dishonest and did not disclosed the following: • Vehicle was involved in an accident from Left • That the accident caused the Steering Column to be faulty or broken • The aircon was not in a working condition although they advertised that the vehicle comes with an Aircon

We are way past repairs which I requested and I need a full refund of R130 000.00. It is day 57 and no resolution is forthcoming. The vehicle is still at We Buy Cars and the GM Henry Harber has still not come back with feedback although he indicated that he will speak to the parties involved.

This is a serious case of Non Disclosure and I will advise my colleagues in the Insurance Industry to look carefully when Insuring vehicles from We buy Cars
