We Buy Cars. A ****!!!!!!

I bought a vehicle from We Buy Cars in Springfield Durban on the 12th November 2022. The Dekra report did not note any engine or gearbox damages but had about 5 faults listed which were not major.

I drove the car home that day but later in the afternoon, the vehicle would not start but was swinging continuously. I reported this at the branch the next day and Akash Inder told me that they would send their mechanic the next day who will check the problem failing which We Buy Cars will send a tow truck and take the vehicle back for their mechanic to check.

It has been a full week now, I am being sent from pillar to post. I have been dealing with Simphiwe Tshabalala who is the "Customer Care Agent" but have had no feedback. He asked me to send the vehicle to a mechanic for a diagnostic test, which I did and said he'd escalate within 24 hours only to find out he'd be away from the office for 3 days with no feedback. I am following up every single day at my own cost, towing the vehicle up and down at my own cost and having to pay mechanics for tests on a vehicle I have not even driven!!!

I just want my money back from We Buy Cars! I don't not want any further dealings with them!!!!
