WE BUY CARS

I Took delivery of my vehicle on the 14th of March 2020. At first I was extremely impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of WeBuyCars during the initial sale of the vehicle. But after the sale was made the after sales is absolutely disappointing. I bought my vehicle on the 14th of March and was told by my sales executive that my licensing would be done in a week or two weeks time. Upon my first follow up with them, they said there is a delay because of covid 19 and the lock down, But I should have had my license before the lock down....I then waited till May 2020, no feed back so I contacted them again and From there on after there's been numerous excuses back and forth.

1st excuse was "lockdown"

2nd excuse "we dont have anyone traveling to that area to do it" (yet I was charged +-R5100 for licensing) if this was the actual case, why did you guys not tell me before I bought the vehicle?? Why was I charged for a service you cannot provide???

3rd excuse " we trying to out source someone to do the license and we have someone, you'll get it shortly" this was another dead end for 2 weeks.

4th excuse " I should go do the licensing and pay for it with my own money and they will reimburse me for it" yet I was already charged R5000+ for it.

5th excuse " we found someone who will do it and sent them the documents, should be done this week"... turned out to be another dead end.

6th excuse " because of lock down all licensing that expired after March will have a renewal extention till August... This turned out to be another lie as my current disc does not fall under the J9 regulations because it only expired in July 2020.

7th excuse "the guys we outsourced to do your licensing went today and the licencing office told them I have the incorrect proof of residence from a totally different area".... Yet I personally went to my municipality and got that proof of residence!!! So my personal opinion is this is just another lie!!!

It's now been 6months that I have this vehicle. Half a Year!! And I still do not have my license disc. I'm currently sitting with a Vehicle that's now unlicensed and this is a major inconvenience for me.

So I hope this post gets some attention. I'm extremely disappointed in the service received from we buy cars after the sale was made. Vehicle was bough at We Buy Cars Durban branch.
