Very very poor service etc

I bought a car from we sell cars Midstream on the 17th May 2018 when viewing the car there was n full service history book inside the vehicle. The sales consultant by the name Patrick showed us the car, he started the car and then we took it for a test drive. During the test drive we decided that we want to purchase the car. When returning back at the showroom Patrick parked the vehicle near the front of the showroom, we got out and he said lets do the paper work but did not lock the car. After the transaction was done we left. We then took the car to fit new tyres as the old ones was totally worn. When i opened the booklet to put the invoice inside i realized that the service booklet is missing. I phoned them asap to let them now and Patrick said that they will check the cameras and get back to me. Well they never came back to me. We phoned them everytime to find out whats happening with no solution. I then went to get the Natis papers on the 30th May and then asked Patrick again whats going on. He then took me to a manager named Dan and explained the story of the book Dan just told Patrick to go and talk to the other manager. Dan never looked or greeted me!!!! We then walked over to the other manager Malcolm we explained the story again as i was informed that a regular dealer from we sell cars has taken out the service book while we were busy doing the paper work. I asked what they were going to do about it Malcolm said that it will not help if he phones the dealer because he is not going to give it back. Malcolm then told Patrick to phone the branch where the car was bought and try to sort this out. Yet again they phoned me back ones the same day to tell me the numbers dont exist but he will work on this the next day. Almost a week later and yet again no phone call back NOTHING!!!!!! This is not the way you do business with clients.

Hi We sell cars responded two days after my post. The branch manager Henry gave me a call on Wednesday and asked me how they can fix the problem, I said to him all I want is the service book and he informed me that they have footage of the guy that was in the car but not evidence that he took the book. He then said he will phone the dealer in Durban to find out about invoices for the services done on the car and get me a new book and he would phone me back later on Wednesday afternoon which never happened up to now I haven't received any phone call or news regarding this problem!!! Again they don't get back to you it's unexceptionable!!!!!!

Hi Alexia,

Thank you for your patience with regards to this matter.

We truly apologise for the inconvenience you have experienced and would just like to inform you that we are doing everything we can to assist.

Our branch manager, Henry Harber, is trying his best to find a solution, but unfortunately, he has not been able to find a record of any services available on the vehicle as the dealership closed down. Subaru also confirmed that when a dealership closes down, there is no record available any longer.

As soon as he does find a solution, however, he will get in touch with you.
