Very Poor Service from We Buy Cars
Good day
We bought a Ford Ranger from We Buy Cars and this is the service that we have received.
We are extremely unsatisfied with everything that has happened and still happening with the Ford Ranger.
In the first week we collected the vehicle we noticed as noise on the undercarriage of the vehicle and brought it to (name removed) attention (Sales Rep), after a complaint was lodged things started to happen and it was advised that the vehicle needs to be taken to (name removed)
The vehicle was taken to them and diagnosed that there is an issue on the Differential, Innovation (warranty insurance) authorized the repair of the differentail and the vehicle was with them for about a month. When collecting and driving the vehicle back we noticed that the noise is still there, we informed (name removed) and first they said it was tyre noise. I then met the owner and he drove with me and heard the noise - he agreed that it was not tyre noise.
The vehicle was taken in again and this was over December, the vehicle was with them for almost two months - got the vehicle back and drove it to Hartbee****rt dam when I noticed the noise was still there and it was getting worse. Once again we informed (name removed).
The vehicle was taken in on March 15 again for them to fix the differential, the vehicle has been there all this time and about two weeks ago (name removed) informed us that supplier that was working on the differential cannot solve the problem and they collected the vehicle, they have since taken it somewhere else and the propshaft was repaired.. After doing this they noticed that the Differential was misdiagnosed and it is actually the gearbox that is the issue.
On May 27th (name removed) contacted me and advised that the gearbox is in for repairs and I should get the vehicle back this week (30/5/2022 till (3/6/2022), I spoke to him yesterday (31/5/2022) and he said that the repairer that was supposed to do the repairs was too expensive and the vehicle is taken elsewhere for repairs (so the repairs was never started).
We bought the vehicle and received it on 30 August 2021 and the date today is 4 June 2022 - so the vehicle has been "ours" for 9 months, the compiled time the vehicle has been in for repairs is almost 6 months. We have been paying a monthly installment and insurance for 6 months for something we do not have (R36,300.00).
TIll today nobody from We buy cars has contacted us to assist and the vehicle is still in for repairs, very poor service from a big company - and poor service from their suppliers.
