Vehicle engine tempering

Hello Peter, my name is Humphrey. On Saturday 24/4/21 i went to We buy cars in Midstream to sell my vehicle Suzuki Ertiga 2019 model. A gentleman by the name Michael de Kock took it for valuation & test drive. Upon completion of valuation while driving back home i noticed smoke coming out of the bonnet. When I opened the bonnet I discovered that the oil cap was missing & there was oil spillage all over the engine compartment. When I reported the matter, he initially told me that he never tempered with the cap but later assumed responsibility, apologised & promised to sort it out but all they did was to send someone to replace the oil cap only.
