Vehicle Certificate still outstanding after car purchase

well, to begin with, I'm still happy with the vehicle i have purchased. however, i wish it was handled better as it was my 1st car that I've brought. i am still waiting for my Vehicle Certificate documents as i need the car to travel with and it's frustrating as I'm not being told on the progress of the application or if it was submitted to begin with, please respond to this matter
