Unprofessional customer service

I bought a car at Montana branch on the 29/06/2026,The car drove well from Montana to Vereeniging. The following morning I attended to all listed defects then the car was parked for almost two weeks as I went on a vacation abroad.

On the 18th of July;a day after my return from a vacation, I used the car to OR Tambo airport but around South gate mall I noticed the car was excessively consuming fuel. I stopped the car to inspect if I can spot any leaks, fuel was spilling out from a damaged "injector leak-off return pipe"

This defect was completely omitted from the official WeBuyCars inspection report provided to me at the time of sale. I notified we buy cars and they requested I get a quotation of which I did, from there I never received any correspondence and every after attempt to communicate with them,I just get same response "we will escalate your matter".

On the 04th of August I decided to pay for the parts as they're supposed to be ordered from Korea and shipment might take over three weeks. I still phoned and informed we buy cars and I asked again on how we're going to work matter out; Abigail Nkumba promised to revert and till today I haven't heard from her.

Today I received a call from Hyundai branch notifying me that the ordered part has arrived.i phoned we buy cars and the response was still the same as usual. I believe I followed their complaint channels and I've taken for granted and I'm now going to escalate the matter to the Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa (MIOSA) and the National Consumer Commission (NCC) without further notice.

I did receive a call and e-mail from Abigail Nkumba, I'm now more frustrated than before. After all these run-around, webuycars is offering to reimburse me with 25%.

I rep**** to Abigail Nkumba's email acknowledging receipt of email and further stated I won't sign but it escalate the matter further as I see webuycars i still continuing to take me for a ride.
