********* Sales Practices

I filled in the online application form and asked for a price of around R135 000. I got a mail back offering me R90 to R93 000 for my car, I accepted and arranged for a buyer to come and view my vehicle. My car does have 2 scratches and the buyer offered me R85 000. I was happy with the price. However my car did have black stickers on covering the bonnet, boot and roof. He informed me that if I had the stickers removed he will come back to get my car for the offer of R85 000. I removed the stickers the following week at a cost of R2 500, and my car was in mint condition underneath the stickers, I informed the buyer that my car is ready. He came out and then only offered me R73 000! This makes no sense to me as I would have lost R14 500 by doing what Webuycars requested of me. On their website Webuycars clearly states and “seem” to take pride in the following FALSE statements; "We come to you and buy your car in a quick, efficient and streamlined way.” - The process was not quick an efficient as I had to alter my car before you were willing to buy .."sell your car in a quick and painless way to people you can trust” - It is clear that Webuycars can not be trusted as after I had expenses to remove the stickers, of which nothing was wrong, Webuycars offered me R12 000 LESS and I had to pay an additional R2 500! "Best of all, you do not have to do anything or go anywhere." - Clearly untrue, I had to go and make it in manner you would accept, even though there was nothing wrong with the car I am very unhappy and disappointed with the service received and will not recommend their service to anyone. I thought Webuycars could be trusted and that the selling of my car would be a quick and painless process as I have experienced before. I do not understand how Webuycars can offer me less after I had to incur expenses to make it more attractive for Webuycars. Webuycars deals in an ********* way with their customers.

I appolgise for my late response, I was away from work.

I hope to follow up on this soon, I am fama****izing myself with the content and context of what seem to be a very ligit complaint. I am also upset about it. This is certainly not the customer service we are known for, and I will do all I can to mitigate this situation and see if there is still any room for us to make amends, and otherwise to amend our behaviour to prevent any such thing from ever repeating.

Please accept my sincerest apologies in advance, I will get back to you as soon as I can, and hopefully we can still part in an amicable way.
