Underpaying clients

So we decided its time to sell our Golf 6 GTi 2012.

Completed an online form at We buy cars and got an estimate of R111 000. A friendly agent got in contact and we arranged a date for him to come view and test drive.

He did his necessary checks and took the car for a test drive. Came back and advised we will receive a price later in the day.

No this is a perfomance car with a book value around R150k +. We were happy with R100-120k or even the estimate presented by We buy Cars of R111k.

We received an offer of R63 000. And the reasoning for this is apparently the paint work needs "minor attention". The agent also mentioned he wasnt sure why their head office gave that price because the car is in good condition and worth at least the estimated price.

Then i saw that we buy cars were taken to court for underpaying clients.

The agent was great, but who ever sits at head office is trying to do people in after the person who viewed the car gave a great review...make that make sense.
