The Price you see is not the price you pay.
The vehicle was listed online for R83'000.00 I then arranged for someone to go check the vehicle. Once I was happy with it I agreed to buy it for R83'000.00 then they proceeded to do the finance and all the paperwork ready for us to collect the vehicle. Only once everything was done did it turn out that they wanted to charge us R97'000.00 for the vehicle. It had just had a service but they wanted to charge for a service again. there was a fee for delivery although they say they don't deliver. I have to pay for a warranty even though they have to give me a 6 month warranty without extra charge according to the CPA. They wanted to charge me for licencing, registration but I live in a different province and as such will need to licence & register it here myself. They never made me aware of these extra costs or the total final price when we first spoke about the vehicle. I have since lost out on another vehicle as a result of this and it has caused my company delays in finding a vehicle which has cost implications for us. I reserve the right to litigate.

Hi Richard,
Kindly find that I have received feedback from Callan Coles, one of our Sales Managers, and he advised that you originally approached Rudi (on the 18th of January 2018) to purchase the vehicle cash for R83 000.00, and then decided to rather purchase the vehicle on finance (on the 19th of January 2018), after which Rudi advised that there will be additional charges when doing a finance deal.
He also advised that you did not wish to purchase a warranty as the CPA entitles you to a 6-month warranty, unfortunately, this is a standard on our finance vehicles, and was brought to your attention when you decided to change from a cash to a finance deal.
After being approved, you felt that the service and delivery fee was not necessary, as the vehicle was recently serviced. I have been advised that Morne de Vos then explained that it is an internal fee and needs to be stated on the invoice for the bank.
With regards to the licencing and registration fee, as we have to register it in the banks' name, Morne advised that we would only charge R500.00 for registration, which is R1000 less, and that you are then welcome to do the licencing yourself.
Our Sales Manager was notified about your complaint on the 23rd of January, and reported it to our Head of Sales on the 24th of January, who confirmed that, unfortunately, we are not to remove any further extras from the deal, as it is in accordance with our company rules and regulations when doing a finance deal.
