****** Car? Or useless service?
I bought a car from webuycars.co.za on 16 January 2021. I bought the car cash and took the car the same day. The vehicle does need quite some work that I was aware of and didn't mind it. I was informed on the day of the purchase that the cars papers still needed to come back from dealer stock and that I would receive the papers in one or two weeks. In the first week I received an email from the salesman telling me that the car needs to go for police clearance as it was reported ******. The email was received 2021/01/21. The car has been parked in a garage since. I cannot start with the repairs needed to get the car roadworthy. And I cannot take a chance on using the vehicle as it is a ****** vehicle according to the salesman. Since the email was received from the salesman I have send numerous emails to the salesman and the customer care department without receiving any feedback. Today, 2021/02/01 I sent a whatsapp to the salesman asking him when the car will be collected for the police clearance to sort out the paperwork. He rep**** on my whatsapp stating that head office will still contact me. I asked when, as I am an Estate Agent and need to car to do my work and the reply was that he doesn't know because the people at head office still don't know who they are going to send to take the car. I asked for a number for Faan van der Walt but he refused to give it to me.
I really feel that this issue should be sorted immediately or that I should receive my money back and that webuycars.co.za can come and collect their car.
