Stay Away from WeBuyCars

On 31 December 2024 we bought a vehicle from WeBuyCars at the Dome in Randburg. (1) A few weeks into ownership, the exhaust fell off, detached, a new exhaust was needed, the extended warranty declined the claim, after paying for the replacement WeBuyCars eventually refunded me the monies paid into fixing the exhaust. (2) Whilst driving on the highway, the car lost power, as I tried to accelerate the automatic car was revving instead of moving forward, eventually the problem fixed itself and the car regained power. (3) Two months after having the vehicle I realized that the brakes were finished, upon taking the car to Supa Quick I was informed that the disks were also finished, meaning I needed to purchase disk and pads I then decided to park the car. (4) I was regularly starting the car just to let the engine run so that the battery doesn't give problems. Just this week, when I attempted to start the car, the engine light came on, the car won't start. 86 days into ownership, we are paying for a car that has only been used for about 2 months and 2 weeks. (5) Clearly thorough inspections weren't done on this vehicle, take your car back.
