Some clarity on Wesellcars.co.za

I've seen some negative reviews of Webuycars.co.za and it is clear to me that the writers have not done their due diligence before buying a car from the company.

I bought a Daihatsu Terios from them unseen. The salesman advised that it had a full service history and was in reasonable condition, but made no guarantees. I got the car at a great price and it was perfect for what I needed it for.

Here's where people misunderstand. Webuycars is not a dealership. It is a wholesaler. They buy cars for more than trade-in and sell them for less than retail. You are taking the same risks buying from them as you would be in any private deal.

I had to put in a new battery, fix some oil leaks and straighten a stabiliser bar to pass roadworthy. Other than that the car is fine.

In my experience the sales people always warned of problem cars and advised to stay far away.
