Sold me a defective vehicle now they are not paying my money back!

****S WITH HORRIBLE AND COMMUNICATION !!! They sold me a defective vehicle that died on me less than 48 hours after I purchased it. The car was category A but died because it had a bursted turbo and leaked oil from the engine whilst moving. I was stuck on the road for hours, having to organise a tow truck because the car didn’t want to start and it was on a Saturday. They fetched the car on the Tuesday and called 2 days after on a Thursday to say the have detected many other problems on the vehicle which will take longer time and money to repair. Mind you these are faults that they did not list on the car’s summary and DEKRA report. They went on to say, they should’ve have sold me the vehicle, so I should look for another one which was ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE to hear from such a car company. Disappointing is an understatement to say the least.

I then requested my money back on the Friday (last week)since they did not have the car I was looking for in any of their branches. I spoke to the branch manager at the Germiston branch named Taylor and he said it will take 48 hour business day to get my money back. Currently it’s been 2 weeks without a car and more than 120 hours (6 days) have went past without getting my money sent back to me so I can purchase another vehicle.

This has honestly been the worst experience ever because I had to sell my previous vehicle in order to buy a new one only to find myself with no vehicle and my money withheld by the very same car company that sold me a faulty and defective vehicle with unlisted issues. My life has been hell lately, my budget is scrutinised and my job is at risk because I’m forced to take public transportation and ask for favours to get to work since this company does not want to payback the money I paid to purchase a vehicle CASH. We have been calling and sending messages, begging and waiting, but they just don’t care at all about my personal lives and how much I’m being affected by this delay. This is really the worst experience ever. I just want to get my money back immediately as it was demanded when the people at WeBuyCars sold me a faulty and defective vehicle so we can cut ties and I never step foot in any of your car branches ever again.
