Sold Faulty Car – Left Stranded on Holiday

I bought a 2018 VW Tiguan from WeBuyCars 3 months ago that has seen the inside of workshops more time than it has stretched the road, and within days it broke down due to a gearbox failure while we were on holiday. My family was left stranded, and we had to pay for emergency transport and lodging out of our own pocket. This has caused major financial and emotional stress.

I claimed reimbur*****t from WeBuyCars and they couldn't be bothered! I’m extremely disappointed that proper checks were not done before selling the car. This was supposed to be a reliable purchase, not a disaster. The customer service is disgusting where agents moan in "Ooohs and Aaahs" in the background where we are still treated like stats to them. Very useless and unreliable! I would never recommend anyone buy a car from them!!! You will set yourself up and sit with a hefty hole in your pocket!
