Sold a non compliant vehicle with no interim support. Ongoing financial loss

I purchased a Ford Focus from WeBuyCars Southgate approximately one month ago. I have since discovered that the engine number on the vehicle does not match the RC1 registration documents and traffic records. This issue was not disclosed at the time of sale. I reported the matter to the branch, and it has been acknowledged that the vehicle requires police clearance to resolve the discrepancy. However, I have been given no clear timeline, and due to a public holiday period, the delay is now extending into next week. In the meantime, I have not been provided with a reasonable interim solution. I was offered a limited Bolt voucher, which does not replace the use of my vehicle for work, school transport, and daily responsibilities. As a result: I am unable to use the vehicle without risk I have lost income as I use the vehicle to generate income daily I have lost a confirmed opportunity to sell the vehicle at a profit I am carrying the full inconvenience and financial impact of a defect that existed prior to purchase Additionally, the matter was handled poorly at branch level, including an instruction from the branch manager to cancel the deal without first discussing this option with me, which I had to challenge. I have attempted to resolve this directly with WeBuyCars, but the response has been dismissive and lacking urgency. I am requesting: Urgent resolution of the compliance issue Adequate interim support Fair compensation for my financial losses I trust that this matter will now receive the attention and urgency it requires.
