Shocking Customer Service

Shocking experience.

After paying the deposit on a vehicle I was interested in and trying to get further photos as I could not go view the vehicle in person - it took 2 days for somebody to finally send me some photographs so i could make an informed decision. When speaking to the salesperson I was told that after paying for the vehicle in full, it will be shipped in 3 days (from the Joburg to the Durban branch). Subsequently I paid for the vehicle in full, that was 10 days ago. According to the sales person the vehicle was collected by the transporters last Wednesday. I did chat to the sales person last week and he told me the vehicle would be in Durban on Wednesday or Thursday this week ready for collection.

Today I have called the sales person 4 times and left him a message trying to determine where the vehicle is. as yet he hasn't returned my calls. I have called main call centre, twice both times the staff were friendly and tried to get hold of the correct manager at the dome. Both times i was on the phone for over 20 minutes, when the call centre couldn't connect me to a sales manager (after holding on) Both times i was promised someone would call me back.

The buying experience for me has not been a good one. I have paid out over R400k in cash for a vehicle and no one can tell me where it is, those that might know aren't answering the phone. I find it hard to believe there isnt a better escalation procedure in place, if there is one there seems to be a barrier once you hit the call centre.

I wouldn't be trying to get answers if i had been clearly communicated with. Right now I own a car and have no idea where it is or when i may be getting it, unhappy is an understatement.
