Serious Gearbox Failure on Nissan X-Trail - WeBuyCars Montana (CPA Claim)

I purchased a 2015 Nissan X-Trail (T32) from WeBuyCars Montana on 20 February 2026 (Salesperson: Olerato). Less than three weeks after delivery, on 8 March 2026, the vehicle suffered a major mechanical failure regarding its transmission (gearbox). In terms of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), I am well within the 6-month imp**** warranty period for latent defects. This is a significant mechanical failure that renders the vehicle unfit for its intended purpose. I have already emailed *** and formally lodged a dispute with Marquis Finance to inform them of the breakdown. I hereby demand the following from WeBuyCars Montana: Collection of the vehicle from my residence at WeBuyCars' expense. A formal, detailed technical report on the mechanical breakdown. A resolution in line with the CPA: Either a full repair at WeBuyCars' cost or the immediate cancellation of the finance deal with Marquis Finance. I expect a prompt response and a clear timeline for the collection of the vehicle

And no reply no feedback on the issue on my car, the management from Montana branch service is pathetic,I dealt with Eddie from the branch and he just does not even bother to prioritise anything at all tell you he will get back to you on feedback about my vehicle and when I asked him on WhatsApp, absolutely no reply at all, not worth a manager at all, this is the worst service in ever received from Webuycars, one will think a new branch with eager and helpful staff, I cannot say anything good about the service from staff
