Save yourself and stay away from WE BUY CARS or should I say WE **** PEOPLE!!! DONT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!!!!

Was an urgent email I sent to We Buy Cars Executive Director's brothers Faan and Dirk Van Der Walt on Monday the 28th of February 2022 in aid of assistance, having lost all hope in their subordinates blatant disregard to our frustrations.

To this day I have yet to receive feedback, it is now clear to see that the fish rots from the head, such leadership only looking out to secure consumers money and a constant disregard of the dilapidated vehicles they are selling to consumers makes me wonder how there are investors like Transaction Capital willing to invest in this sinking ship!!!

We recently purchased a 2014 Ford Figo Ambiente from we buy cars Johannesburg South, we received the car on Saturday the 19th of February 2022, by Sunday the 20th of February we had requested to return the vehicle because as soon as the car goes over the speed of 100 km the check engine light goes on and the cars loses power. Scott our sales consultant who had taken us on a test drive in the yard reaching a speed limit of 40km asked if we could bring it in on Monday the 21st of February 2022 so that the vehicle could go for a second diagnostics test as the dekra report didn’t specify any defects on the engine.

We then took the car in on Monday as requested, the matter was escalated to head office, we then spoke to a lady at head office named Kimberly regarding the car (What a waste!!!!!!). To this day we have yet to receive feedback. It was explained that the car will be taken to JAG Auto, however when we called JAG Auto there has been no vehicle booked in under the registration.

The bank has already paid We buy cars the full asking price of the car and we are now held liable to pay, yet we do not even have a vehicle in our possession as per our contractual agreement in the OTP under the return policy we are within our right as the consumer to return this vehicle.

I am left deeply disgusted and appalled by the service received to this day!!! there has been no contact made, I feel that we have been ****med by such a big organization the 1 star I feel is a bonus having read most of the reviews on hello peter for we buy cars....

This seems to be the companies way of operating....
