Your Reference 58802. WBC JHB South. In January 2024, found a car at JHB South, went to view the car, had a Dekra Gold Rating with minimal issues. App**** for finance, finance was approved. mid-process salesman told me that the car's gearbox is not in a good condition and would be costly to repair. He told me to search for another car, and I subsequently found one in WBC PMB, I contacted the my salesman again and he said because I had already been approved for finance on the first car, they will just load the "new car information" on my deal BUT because the car is in another province I would have to pay for the shipment costs as they use an external party. I paid the required R3050.00 on the understanding and assurance that my deal is approved and in place. Waited 10 days for the car to arrive and upon following up on what's the delay, only to then find out that the finance would need to be redone as a new application which then required +/- R90k deposit. I was then told that they cannot refund my shipment fee of the car. Their sales people and F&I people do not give full and accurate information. Numerous correspondence and proof thereto was sent to them and I have been waiting for a response. Even the sales person confirmed my story over the phone but to date I don't have resolution to this matter.
