****** AND TREATED UNFAIR BY WEBUYCARS

On the 16th of June I was referred by lady from car dealer who told me that this company bought a car from a white man and they gave him more than what he expected. On the 17th of June I contacted We Buy Cars, selling my car for R90 000.00 of which a guy by the name Slade Demosthemous his number *** who was very rude had no manner of approach phoned me back. He told me they won't buy my car for that money and he told me their company sells hundreds of cars per day he won't beg me for that. I asked him how can you decided on the price without inspection he said you take it or leave it. I said I can take R80 000.00 at least he refused but I said to him you will phone me back because my car is a good condition and I have all the papers you might need and my car is paid up. He insisted by saying no we can buy your with R70 000.00 of which I refused. He dropped the phone.

The following week I received a call the guy said he is calling from Webuycars I said I am at gym I can't hear. After few hours Slade phoned me with a voice as if he had flue and said Mam can I come for an inspection for your car I said only if we will agree on the price I am looking for he said we will talk he said maybe we will look at 75 000.00 I said see the car first don't tell me the price.

We made an appointment for 23rd of June 2021 at 2pm at my brother's house in Bisley. In the morning Slade phoned me at about 8am and I said how do you work now I have to cancel all my appointments I don't like what you are doing. He said where about are you I told him my car is at my brother's house I'm 10-15 minutes away. He called non stop and said I'm at your brothers house open the gate immediately he said I can see someone coming out where is your car keys. I said listen we don't do things like that as zulu people first greet that lady and introduce yourself. I was compelled to leave everything and rush for Slade immediately he called and said where is your car keys I said I won't allow them to give you my keys without my concern. I rushed there and boom he took my car for 70 000.00 I said at least give me 80 000.00 he refused.

I felt ****** and treated unfairly without honesty and with no integrity. I sent my complaint on the 25th of June an African lady called in response to my complaint I cried over the phone cause I felt that Slade undermined me and he discriminated against me because I heard that a white man got more than what he expected. Why me is it because I am black female? The asked what is my expectation with my complaint I said at least they must pay me back R10 00.00 I will be at peace she said she will take my complaint further to managers overseas. A white guy called and promised to talk to Slade he never came back its been more than two weeks I never heard from him.

All I want is to be treated fair by being paid what I wanted for my car but for now I feel ******.
