Ridiculous valuation!
Have just received a valuation on my immaculate, 2013 Mercedes SLK 350 which only has 39000 kms on the clock and still 18 months left on the Mercedes service plan and warranty. The valuation "we buy cars" was R70,000 less than Mercedes offered to buy it off me for ... i think this company is a *******!

04 Jun 2019, 08:49Hi Kit,
I have investigated your situation and can see from our system that we made you an estimate offer of R355 000 for your 2013 Mercedes SLK 350. Your feedback to our buyer was that you had an offer of R360 000 from another dealership.
We asked to come and see you so that we can evaluate the vehicle and go up on our offer, but we have not received any feedback from you.
If you have received an offer of R425 000 from a Mercedes dealership ( R70 000 more than our initial offer) we can truly say that it is a very good offer.
Kind Regards

We do not offer Valuations.
We do Evaluations.
We make an offer.
Such an offer is in no way necessarily a reflection of Value.
Value is completely subjective and always a topic of debate.
An offer reflects a position where we communicate what price we are good for, and at what point we feel you can count us out.
We feel we are free to make an offer, and the client is free to reject it.
That is our position. We did not miss-represent our intentions.
