Return policy....refund or swap
I bought a car in march. Test driven the car and it was fine. Since i know nothing about cars i re**** on everything the sales consultant told me. He said that even though the engine light was on it could just be the battery, or he thinks that its because the air pipe is not tight enough.
He drove the car and gave me a link to check the dektra report since he was in a hurry. He said it was his day off and he was just at work to fetch something and because i was standing there for too long waiting for a sales consultant to help me he can then help me quickly before he left. Now i drove the car a few days and took it to peugeot for diagnosis. I was shocked to learn that the quotation amounted to R30 000.
I obviously dont have 30k as i took a loan to buy the car.
I would advise everyone to not buy from webuycars. I sent an email to their customer service to ask if they can help me with a refund a swap or i can choose another car. I am still waiting for a respond but the customer service consultant bluntly said he doesn't think they are gonna help me and think they are gonna refer me to the ombudsman. He says he is currently sitting with 58 complaints and his colleagues are sitting with 60 complaints hence he did not respond to my complaint on time.
What kind of a company sits with so many complaints? This should tell consumers something. Stay away from webuycars
