Reserved vehicle sold to another buyer

On 28th Feb 2019 @ 10:30am I received an email from Morne requesting legal documentation to be submitted prior to 11am as Management wanted to release a vehicle that was reserved for me until COB 28th Feb 2018. The half an hour deadline i was given was impossible to meet so I called Henry Harber - Manager to explain that I had consulted with the Lawyers already for a letter to confirm maintenance deposits in my account, however due to the fact that they were in court the morning of the 28th they said the document will be sent before 2pm. He explained to me that he needs the letter ASAP as the administration to close this deal had taken too long (i was surprised by his statement as its only standard procedure that his F&I had to adhere to). I further explained that I was prepared to pay the deposit requested last week Friday the 22nd Feb 2019, when I was notified of the banks approval, my husband and I visited the warehouse on 23rd to test drive and complete documentation however the F&I Morne was off that day, as such the Salesman made a note on the front of the vehicle that the vehicle was reserved until 28th Feb 2019 for even after completing the paperwork with Morne on Monday 25th when he's in the office, we would only be able to take delivery on Saturday 2nd March 2019. This seemed not to matter to Henry as he had 'other' customers interested in the vehicle. I reiterated that the docs would be in by 2pm and pleaded for his patience the team involved in this case had come a long way and this was hopefully the last straw. After sending the docs at 1:10pm I immediately notified the F&I and Salesman but to my dismay Management had sold/reserved the vehicle for another buyer. When I called Henry about this he said he didn't know anything I fail to believe this as he is Snr Management on the floor. I'm utterly distraught by this. I'M ALSO A CUSTOMER

VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED BY HENRY But THANK YOU TO THE F&I and Salesman DAVID for seeing this through it was such a betrayal in the end and it wasn't any of OUR fault

The outcome of Riaan's investigation- totally contradicts the facts laid out above. I have emails sms; and telephone records which clearly confirm that by 13:30pm on 28th February my vehicle was sold to someone else, he interprets this as COB 28th February 2019 - how shocking is this. He even tells me that I was only approved on 1st March 2019 when in actual FACT the podium states 28th Feb 2019 @ 13:53 not only that 3 of his immediate staff members were directly involved in this matter but it shows that he ONLY spoke to HENRY HARBER who does NOT take accountability for his actions & Snr Management DO NOT see a FAULT in this. I've brought this case to the General Manager's attention and hope for better response relating to this issue.
